Patch 0.3.1

Update 0.3.1 (Version: 200297) is now live for Way of the Hunter 2, fixing the vehicle exit bug, stuck markers, and a range of gear and encyclopedia issues, alongside a new Experimental branch update addressing multiplayer bugs.

We've pushed Patch 0.3.1 for Way of the Hunter 2, focused on cleaning up several issues, including those introduced by the recent update. We've fixed the vehicle getting stuck and unexitable in several situations, and markers staying stuck on screen after fast travel. We know ballistics and animal lethality have been a major point of feedback for many, we're currently working on tweaking the flesh damage, and it'll go out once it's passed internal testing. We've also fixed several issues with gear and the encyclopedia.

We're aware there are still many open issues, and fixing them remains our highest priority.

Alongside the default branch, we've also pushed a new update for the Experimental branch that addresses several bugs for the multiplayer experience. Starting a multiplayer session could remove taxidermies made in single-player, that's now fixed, along with fixes for map selection, clients getting stuck while joining sessions, and improved performance and stability on the client side.   • Fixed: Not being able to exit the vehicle

Animals & trophies

  • Fixed: Hippo swimming animation not lining up correctly

  • Fixed: Blesbok trophy showing female horns in the wrong position

Gear

  • Fixed: Shop only letting you buy the first item in each category

  • Fixed: Yellow-Billed Duck Decoy turning into a Mallard Decoy when picked up

  • Fixed: Aiming down sights getting cancelled near blinds

  • Fixed: Scope "Primacy Clarity Digital 2-16x32" lacking proper zeroing functionality

  • Fixed: Zeroing not working properly with night vision scopes

UI/UX

  • Fixed: Markers remaining on the screen after fast travel

  • Fixed: Firearm and caliber not showing up in the Claim screen

  • Fixed: Bullet trajectory and hit organs not displaying in the Bullet camera in some situations

  • Fixed: Central European Boar showing an incorrect trophy size range

  • Added: Situation-specific animations for Naomi

Experimental branch v0.3.1.200253 (Multiplayer):

  • Fixed: Starting a multiplayer session removing all taxidermies made in single player

  • Fixed: Map selection not working correctly in some situations

  • Fixed: Not being able to join a session while stuck at 100% loading in some situations

  • Fixed: Player joined session notification being displayed for the host about themselves

  • Fixed: Gear being invisible in hands in some situations

  • Fixed: Host not seeing all available items in Storage

  • Tweaked: Improved performance and stability on client's side
