We've pushed a major patch for Way of the Hunter 2, and the biggest change is a reworked flesh damage system based on your feedback. With the optimal caliber, animals now go down more reliably, without destroying excessive amounts of usable meat. This rebalancing is still ongoing, and in the meantime, it may result in overly favourable hunt ratings in some cases. We plan to continue tuning this in the upcoming updates.
We've also fixed incorrect hunting log weights for sold animals, fitness not correctly affecting animal weight, animals with low fitness reaching high trophy ratings, and animals losing rare fur after being displayed as taxidermy. There's also a batch of scope/optics fixes, various crash fixes, and improvements to binocular zoom, HUD, diorama slots, and controller support, plus DualSense layout support and several mission/challenge progression fixes.
